Tennessee exports $1.8 billion worth of products each year to China, and is ranked #1 in the U.S. in the growth rate of exports to China for the last decade. The mission of TCCC is to help educate the businesses in TN about the history, culture and people in China, and to help this growth in export from TN to China to continue. As the head of the state agency which is primarily responsible for job creation in Tennessee, Commissioner Hagerty will talk about Governor Bill Haslam’s plan to increase business interaction between TN and China, and to create more jobs here in TN.
